The labor cost depends on the size of the project. For example, the labor cost of a 50 square foot project would be significantly higher than the cost of a 1,000 square feet project. Also, things get a little complicated with cuts and patterns. More cuts or details usually always means more tile waste and labor.
Old flooring is often overlooked.  When installing new tiles it is going to cost to remove the old flooring and this cost depends on the old flooring.
Accidental damage – A few tiles usually get damaged because of the transportation or during the cutting process. That’s why we recommend buying 10% overage to cover waste.

Generally speaking, a kitchen remodel takes about 3 weeks. The first week is demo, mechanical, and setting cabinetry. Next the countertop areas get templated so that the granite or quartz can be fabricated. The turnaround time for countertops is usually 7-10 days. After that the final touches such as kitchen backsplash and appliance hook up finish off the project.

Cost very much depends on the amount of area being done. A large open area takes less time than 3 small bedrooms even though it can be more square footage.
