Countertop Fabrication & Installation
Are you ready to upgrade to quartz or granite countertops but you do not know where to start? Choosing the right solid surface top that fits your design and budget can be a difficult task. Quartz and granite are priced by grouping and prices vary greatly by group, so it is a good idea to pick samples from multiple groups. Our lead time is among the fastest in the industry as we go from laser templating to installation of your new kitchen countertops in 7-10 days. We handle everything from removal of your old tops to hooking up your sink and dishwasher. Both quartz and granite are great options for your counter, and we do not recommend one over the other.
Granite
Granite is an excellent choice for a solid surface kitchen counter. Because it is natural and harvested from the earth each slab is unique. It is easy to find a gorgeous slab that matches your taste. Most of the time granite is a more budget friendly than quartz. Part of the reason for this is that granite comes in a larger slab and the slab is cheaper. A larger slab means you can cover more kitchen per slab. A single galley kitchen usually uses 1 slab while a modern kitchen with an island generally takes 2 slabs. With quartz you can need an extra slab.
Quartz
Quartz is a manmade product that is also great for use as a kitchen counter. It comes in 100’s of color options, from modern and blank to marble lookalikes. You will definitely find quartz is easy to fall in love with. The two major advantages to quartz. Unlike granite quartz never needs to be sealed. Quartz can free float farther distances than granite without support.

Countertop FAQ
The average sized kitchen that uses 2 slabs will usually cost around $7,000. This can vary greatly depending on the actual slab cost. The formula for pricing kitchen countertops goes like this: Slab price multiplied by the number of slabs needed plus fabrication cost.
Generally speaking, a kitchen remodel takes about 3 weeks. The first week is demo, mechanical, and setting cabinetry. Next the countertop areas get templated so that the granite or quartz can be fabricated. The turnaround time for countertops is usually 7-10 days. After that the final touches such as kitchen backsplash and appliance hook up finish off the project.
We come out and give you a quote. If possible, we wait to remove your countertop until installation day. Template to install is usually 7-10 days. Templating happens after you choose your material and lock in a price. We have 100’s of options available.
Your existing countertops will need to be empty prior to templating. On installation day it is best to have under the kitchen sink empty and all of the drawers removed. Last but not least, please make sure and have a clear path from your entry to the kitchen as these new tops will be very heavy.
We protect your house with plastic, canvas, and anything else possible to keep your house as clean and dust free as possible. We remove demo and trash debris daily.

You will not need to hire any other trades. We take care of the demo of your old tops, plumbing your sinks, and we will even install your kitchen backsplash tile.
